Meatball Sundae questions

I asked my questions looking at the book through the lens a Fortune 500 company, many of whom would likely be in the "meatballs" column having reached their current size in the mass marketing era.

The marketing managers I talk to at these companies are fascinated by/fearful of new marketing and are feeling the heat since their traditional approach isn't working as well as it used to. Meatball Sundae might be a depressing read for them - suggesting that their two choices are a) to carry on making meatballs until they go out of business or b) turn the massive ship around and reinvent the company which may be beyond their capacity to implement. So, what's their way out?

Question one: Getting into the game
Question two: What about branding?
Question three: What would Josiah do?
Question four: Ralph Lauren - a meatball sandwich?
Question five: How long have they got?

Great job on this interview Martin. Many fantastic ideas shared too. Glad you asked the brand question too, and I like Seth's answer.
