Virtual Book Tour: Change The Way You See Yourself

The May 2008 Post2Post Virtual Book tour, where authors move with their books from site to site over the period of a week, is now underway. This month's book is Change The Way You See Yourself by Kathy Cramer and Hank Wasiak.

This is Kathy and Hank’s second book featuring the philosophy of asset-based thinking (ABT). (The first: Change the Way You See Everything). ABT is the philosophy of focusing on the “what you have” versus that “what you’re missing.” The opposite of asset-based thinking is deficit-based thinking (DBT).

I can't vouch for the book itself because I haven't read it (yet). But I can vouch for one of the authors. I know Hank from when I worked at Nestlé when he was managing our account for McCann. As he admits in his chat with Paul today, these were his "DBT" days: "In the advertising business it was almost a way of life." But even back then, Hank was a delight to work with. Now, happily, he's in full ABT-mode, publishing books and pitching in at The Concept Farm.

The tour schedule is:
Idea Sandbox Paul Williams (Mon, May 26)
Livin’ Venti Scott Hodge (Tue, May 27)
Sui Generis Derrick Kwa (Wed, May 28)
Personal Branding Blog Dan Schwabel (Thur, May 29)
Make It Great Phil Gerbyshak (Fri, May 30)
